To mark India’s 71st Republic Day, Canon India Involve celebrated the spirit of patriotism and togetherness in its adopted villages across the country. Reviving the essence of a united and diverse nation, 51 employees from corporate and regional offices visited the adopted villages including Maheshwari in Haryana, Sol Gohalia in Kolkata and Karanjoti in Mumbai.

Marking the celebrations, school children performed cultural performances including dancing, singing and reciting poem on the theme of patriotism. Adhering to our initiative Learning Beyond Books, employees engaged with the children in on-ground activities on significance of the special day. They enlightened them on the importance and meaning of a democratic constitution and acknowledge the spirit of a united nation, irrespective of caste, colour and creed.

The celebrations concluded on a patriotic note with singing the national anthem in unison and feeling proud of our country.
