Experience an advanced 4K UHD video with selectable crop or uncrop function to record smooth high resolution movies with an uncompromising quality of detail, motion and colour.

Use any lens and achieve sharper handheld shots with the new In-Body Image Stabilizer, a sensor-shift system that performs 5-axis camera shake correction. With a compatible lens, you could even shoot up to 8 shutter speed stops slower. Handy for getting creative with handheld slow shutter shotsin dimly-lit conditions—or radical new angles from less-than-traditionalshooting positions.

Precise autofocusing is possible even in near pitch-darkness, making EOS R6 amazing for night-time or low-light photography. The EOS R6’s brilliant AF can operate in conditions as dim as a light rating of EV -6.5. Phenomenal AF is achieved even when using lenses with high F numbers. This ultra-sensitive AF works together with their EVF to clearly capture subjects in tough low light conditions.

In poorly lit, low-contrast shooting conditions, as dark as EV-6.5, where subjects are indistinguishable to the unaided eye, the remarkably powerful AF system helps you to easily acquire focus so that you can capture more decisive moments and important shooting opportunities. The highly-sensitive, low-noise image sensor realizes a native ISO speed as high as 102,400, allowing you to shoot with a faster shutter speed and achieve sharp, clear images – even in the dark.

With the EOS R6, you can shoot uncropped 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) movies that make the most of the 35mm full-frame image sensor, allowing you to take full advantage of the large angle-of-view of ultra-wide-angle lenses. Oversampling 4K 60p movies from 5.1K is also possible, and results in footage that has higher image quality and richer detail than that of normal 4K, although both have the same 4K resolution specifications.

Built-in support for 2.4GHz wireless LAN enables stable, high-speed data transfer, allowing you to take better advantage of services like EOS Utility, Camera Connect and the cloud-based image.canon service. FTP and FTPS functions are supported as well.
