COMMON KINGFISHER which is not seen so common. It's because of his shy nature and quick moments it's hard to track. This colorful bird always blows my mind with his aura.

Brahminy Starlings are a highly social birds. In the grasslands these birds are on the cross-hairs of the predatory birds like eagles. To avoid being hunted they flock together in huge groups. This particular tree was filled with a flock of 20-30 birds. Slowly they started leaving the tree. I waited to a point wherein each branch had a single bird on it, giving it an artistic touch

The bar-headed goose Anser indicus is a goose that breeds in Central Asia in colonies of thousands near mountain lakes and winters in South Asia, as far south as peninsular India. It lays three to eight eggs at a time in a ground nest. It is known for the extreme altitudes it reaches when migrating across the Himalayas. I made this image with my new Canon 6Dmk2. The tilt screen feature proved to be highly useful to get a low angle shot of this bird. Without the tilt screen feature of the Canon 6DMk2 i would have to lay down on the ground to take the shot, which was not possible in this situation

Every Evening the green bee eaters gather at a place to perform their daily ritual. At the dusk as the sun goes down .These little bee eaters gather on the wires and dive down below to take a dive in the mud. They do this to clean their feathers from parasites. I had observed this behavior and wanted to get a bird eye perspective of the entire ritual. Going close to the birds was not an option. Canon wifi feature helped me in getting the job done. I paired the wifi with my canon 6Dmk1 and placed the camera at the spot where the bee eaters gather to take the bath. I hid in a hide some 10 meters away and started taking pictures from the remote shooting feature of the Canon connect app.
