Kudremukha National Park in Karnataka is one of the lesser known national parks in Karnataka. The Lion Tailed Macaques are one of the rare inhabitant of this park. But, the place itself is the most beautiful among all the National Parks. The landscapes here are truly spectacular

The bar-headed goose Anser indicus is a goose that breeds in Central Asia in colonies of thousands near mountain lakes and winters in South Asia, as far south as peninsular India. It lays three to eight eggs at a time in a ground nest. It is known for the extreme altitudes it reaches when migrating across the Himalayas. I made this image with my new Canon 6Dmk2. The tilt screen feature proved to be highly useful to get a low angle shot of this bird. Without the tilt screen feature of the Canon 6DMk2 i would have to lay down on the ground to take the shot, which was not possible in this situation

Every Evening the green bee eaters gather at a place to perform their daily ritual. At the dusk as the sun goes down .These little bee eaters gather on the wires and dive down below to take a dive in the mud. They do this to clean their feathers from parasites. I had observed this behavior and wanted to get a bird eye perspective of the entire ritual. Going close to the birds was not an option. Canon wifi feature helped me in getting the job done. I paired the wifi with my canon 6Dmk1 and placed the camera at the spot where the bee eaters gather to take the bath. I hid in a hide some 10 meters away and started taking pictures from the remote shooting feature of the Canon connect app.

The owner of the cafe wanted something which will attract some young crowd. And this was my way of fulfilling his wish

Ciacada Nymphs spend 10- 15 years underground before they emerge into these noisy creatures. When they emerge out of the nymphs, the wings display an array of colors which fade away with time.
