It’s been almost an year. And it’s still hands down my favourite picture. Gulmarg, the most beautiful of the places I’ve ever been to. It’s said to be “heaven on earth” and I see no point to deny that. The white shimmering mountains, the green lush valleys and the soft snow make this place a world in itself. From the unending calmness of this place, to the breathtaking ski trips, you won’t fall short on adventures. Incorporating vast greenery surrounded by mountains on all sides, Gulmarg has been the most calm destination of mine. No car honks to disturb your sleep, no neighbour’s loud music to burst your ear drums and no pollution to make it difficult to breath, this place being free from all this isolates it from the world making it hence, “Heaven on earth”.

I am always grateful for the opportunity that came along to fly across the Himalayan ranges on a chopper to Everest Base camp trekking. The light was just right casting sharp shadows of the mountains which seemed like a musical note to me. Having a 10-fps camera that is solid enough to capture the tiniest of data even in tricky conditions like this is like having a trustable friend for life. A high shutter speed, low ISO, and a mid-range aperture to keep as much of the frame in focus is what it took to capture these Himalayan ranges.

In Kerala almost near to snehatheeram beach I found this beautiful landscape, but there is no way of transport can be used like car or bike, only through walking we can reach here.
