Brown Breasted Flycatcher Wildlife Photography

Image is clicked at Tal Chappar Rajasthan. I saw few Blackbuk running to cross the road. I slowed down the shutter speed to pan the jump. I moved the camera along with jumping blackbuck so that it remains parallel to camera sensor while shutter is open given a blur background effect. I had no time to put up a tripod so used door of the jeep as support to hold my camera and 600 MM prime lens. While this technique has chances of error, its has rewarding results with some practice.

The Jump Wildlife Photography

Clicked the image during safari at Bandipur Tiger Reserve. For most of the time, elephant was looking away and light was coming from one side. I waited for a right moment so as to get light falling on head. Used exposure compensation to underexpose the image by two stops while shooting to get rich shadows and highlights with contrast to create a portrait.
