Seen are the peaks of the Everest Family, evidently visible from Sandakphu, the highest point of West Bengal on a clear day. The Peak in the front is Lhotse. Mt. Everest, though is looking a little small because of the elevation from where it was clicked, at 8,848 meters (29,029 ft), is and shall always remain the Epitome of the Himalayas, for mountain lovers like me and for every mountaineer who aspires to ascend it.

Solang Valley, located between the Beas Kund and the Solang village in Manali, offers the best view of the snow-capped mountains and the stunning glaciers. Locals earn mainly through tourism. While descending down the valley we came across this string of colts returning back after their tiring day of sufficing tourists with horseriding.
