John Edwards

The photoholic John Edwards is an Air-Force engineer turned photographer, who loves working on challenging photography assignments. When it comes to capturing a variety of stories and faces through camera lens, John Edwards is the pro who needs to be called.

After his stint with IAF, John Edwards sharpened his photography skills in Indian garment export industry and fashion fraternity for more than a decade. Also, renowned as a photoholic, John Edwards takes up new photography assignments based on the challenges they have. He recently completed his “Smiles 5000 Miles” mission by covering 10,000 kilometers on his solo bike journey in 50 days across Indian Coastal Roads, to capture 5000 smiling faces. Being an avid traveler, he has shot more than 20,000 faces across Asia and his passion inspires him to capture more. From people and fashion to editorial and industrial, his photography helped him acquire loyal clients like IIMs, Global NGOs, designers and artists. The photography pro is well known for creating conceptual images and promote images’ visual language. Following his interest in the same, he is sharing his knowledge on photography and Visual Communication with enthusiastic photographers since 2005 at various institutions, including Delhi’s Pearl Academy, Bangalore’s St. Joseph’s College, Delhi’s IIAD, and YMCA. Travel and People Photographer of the year award by International Camera Fair, and Lalit kala Academy award are some of the feathers in his hat.
