William Chang

A wedding and commercial advertising photographer by profession and a wanderer, in search of extraordinary beauty in the ordinary by passion, William Chang is a charming photography stalwart who has made his mark in the photography industry at an astonishingly young age.

William Chang completed his formal education at St. Columba's School, New Delhi and chose to spend his life behind the camera. To hone his craft, he studied photography at the Light And Life Academy in Ooty, graduating in 2003. William started shooting professionally in 2005.

William has a long list of accomplishments that have received recognition far and wide. He was nominated "Kodak Wedding Photographer of The Year" in 2009 and from 2014 to 2017 by Better Photography Magazine. He won the "Kodak Wedding Photographer of The Year" for the “The Best Wedding Photo Story” category. William also won the Grand Prize at The Embassy of The People's Republic of China (New Delhi) Photo Contest. He was recognised by Vogue India, Smart Photography Magazine, HT City, Travel + Leisure Magazine (India, South Asia) and Time Out Delhi Magazine, especially for his work in the field of wedding photography.

William has carried out wedding shoots for the son of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland, the daughter of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya. He has also shot destination weddings in Seoul, Sydney, and Toronto.

William’s work in New Delhi includes shooting The China Kitchen food shots at Hyatt Hotel and architecture shots for Taj Mahal Hotel.

William was the Official Photographer for IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Season 4 and has done fashion shoots with Vaani Kapoor, Lisa Haydon, and Masaba Gupta. He also was a participant in the Mercedes Benz “Frame the Star Contest Pro”.
