Canon imagePROGRAF GP-5300 is a 914.4 mm large compact Format Printer with Aqueous Pigment Fluorescent Ink. It delivers wide colour gamut and vibrant colours to create compelling advertisements and posters enhanced by fluorescent colours.
Industry Standard Coverage
In addition to the coverage of “PANTONE FORMULA GUIDE Solid Coated”1, which is used in a wide range of applications, the new imagePROGRAF GP-5300 has been awarded the world’s first PANTONE-calibrated license for “PANTONE PASTELS & NEONS GUIDE Coated”2, which includes fluorescent and pastel colours.

Borderless Printing
Borderless printing can be achieved on standard and custom width for all supported media. The printer is also capable of three-sided edge-to-edge printing on various sizes that do not match the roll paper width. This allows more flexibility in borderless printing task as borderless print of various sizes can be produced from a single roll of media.

Non Stop Printing
The Sub-Ink Tank System ensures no disruption in printing. It allows you to replace cartridges even when the printer continues to print and allowing you to virtually use all the ink in the tank before replacing it. This is extremely useful during your long print jobs.
Non-Firing Detection and Compensation System
The in-built sensor in the printer detects any blockage in the print head nozzle on the fly. Once detected, another nozzle starts firing automatically immediately thus providing a backup. This prevents any wastage due to banding issue and also reduces head cleaning frequencies thus saving on the ink

Non-Firing Detection and Compensation System
Equipped with in-built sensor, the non-firing detection and compensation system checks the ink ejection from print head nozzles and when a blockage is detected, another nozzle automatically provides backup. This prevents banding and reduces the frequency of print head cleaning required. -
Radiant Infusion
The new Radiant Infusion technology allows the fluorescent ink to be precisely layered on the paper surface along with other inks such as yellow and magenta, which helps to make the print bright and vivid by taking advantage of the light emission from the fluorescent ink. In this way, colours that are difficult to reproduce with a conventional aqueous inkjet printer are rendered vividly and brightly. Easy creation of high-impact graphics can be achieved.
