Canon India Involve aims to transform the lives of children and thereby foster sustainable development in our adopted villages. With our Leaning Beyond Books initiative, we endeavour to empower children with the right exposure by learning from the outside world.

In line with this objective, a learning and exposure visit was organized for the SOS Children’s Villages of India to India's first and largest Center for Photographic Arts, Museo Camera, Gurgaon.

During the visit, the children had the opportunity to experience an array of cameras ranging from vintage to the latest imaging technology. The owner of Museo Camera, Mr. Aditya Arya, briefed the children about the history behind the evolution of cameras and shed insight into how the word ‘Camera’ originated. Further, the children were delighted to see section on Canon cameras as well. To add to their knowledge of the art of photography, a basic photography workshop was also organised inside the museum where tips and tricks on capturing good pictures were taught by Mr. Aditya Arya alongside Canon trainer.
