After spending almost two days with 4 safaris being done, the tiger had eluded us in zone 6 of the Ranthambhore National Park. Monsoons meant that core zones would be closed and we had only zones 6-10 open. It had been almost 3 days since any tiger was spotted. It was very difficult to track the tiger as the foliage was too thick. After searching around, following pug marks we were the ones who first saw T-58 that day. Soon he put up a show, crossing the whole zone 6 with vehicles flying to catch a glimpse but because of great knowledge of the guide and driver, we had an exclusive sighting in the end when everyone was confused about the location of the tiger

Wildlife and opportunities to make fantastic images is all around you. I had gone down to bring something when I spotted this bird and quickly rushed back home to bring the camera. Though the area was covered by the shadow of the tall building, some part, only a tiny fraction was sunlit. I wanted it to come in that part and after just a couple of minutes of waiting, my wish came true, and as soon as it gave me this shot it flew off somewhere else

We had be going round in circles and all across the park for almost 2.5 hours and had seen nothing except 2 sambhars and a glimpse of Rana about 45 feet in the forest. We then came to here and saw a mother and a cub playing in the tall grass. The mother then flew across the road without notice. The cub followed and just gave us a 5 second stare. The whole thing lasted barely a minute. Wildlife is all about PATIENCE

This shot was on my bucket list as its a classic. The sun was about to set while we were photographing Lesser Flamingoes. I told the driver to move and to find some Wild Asses as I wanted to get a shot. We found one but he was one the move and the sun was too high for me to capture it. In the distance we noticed something on the ground. We went to check it out to see 2 Wild Asses sitting and one rose up as we approached. We stopped the vehicle, I positioned myself and waited for the sun to be the right place and finally got the shot
