Ladakh, the name has a mystique attached to it. The mere mention of Ladakh is enough to induce wander lust in you. The landscape is incredibly diverse and changes depending on where you go sometimes you'll find gently sloping grasslands covered with wildflowerso ther times it will be barren desert terrain with little vegetation at all. But no matter what it looks like, it's all breathtakingly beautiful As you make your way across these mountain ranges, you'll find yourself surrounded by the most stunning vistas imaginable. You'll see lakes, mountain valleys, and small villages nestled into the crevices of rock outcroppings. The most astonishing thing about Ladakh is the impossible beauty of its mountains. The land has been called the land of heavenly mountains, and it's not hard to see why. The peaks rise up in jagged, snow-capped forms that seem to pierce the clouds with their white hot tips.
