The sun was getting down and I just wanted to a flower image with backlight . But when I started to frame the composition I was really surprised by the bokeh I got from a point and shoot camera .

I shot this at Mirik, Dhaje. This shot was a kind of dream where i used to see people talk about the view. Lastly traveling about 5hours. The rain had just stopped and turning the weather clear. Considering it as my lucky day found out the spot, picked up my camera and shot it. Turned it into bnw because it is interpretive.

That fine evening's scent was a thing that I can still remember. After the sunset, most people started going back and something said that the show was not over. Exposing frame to the shadows, low ISO but fairly a slower shutter speed, mounted on a tripod and adding a ND8 filter – thinking it would add definition to fiery sky unfolding is what it took to create this photograph. I did turn completely lucky when the flock of birds flew into the brighter half of the frame, so their silhouettes stand out. The blue skies and the after sunset hues split the frame into two halves. This is why I love to call this photograph as ‘The Halves’.

Even if you're not an astronomy buff, you have to admit that there's something special about a sky full of twinkling stars.
